Farrier Procedures

Hoof Trim
Explination: I will trim and file each hoof. I will either use a hoof nipper or hoof parer for trimming, and a tanged hoof rasp for filing. Must be done every three months.
Price: $5/horse

Normal Shoeing
Explination: All four hooves are shoed with basic shoes. These shoes are great for show, trail ride, or exercising. This includes a trim. Must be done every three months.
Price: $15/Horse

Normal Shoeing - Front Hooves
Explination: The front hooves are shoed with basic shoes. These shoes are great for show, trail ride, or exercising. This includes a trim. Must be done every three months.
Price: $10/Horse

Normal Shoeing - Back Hooves
Explination: The back hooves are shoed with basic shoes. These shoes are great for show, trail ride, or exercising. This includes a trim. Must be done every three months.

Eggbar Shoes
Explination: These shoes are specially made by Kelly out of aluminum/steel alloy. They are great for any surface, except racing. All four hooves will be shoed with these as recommended by our farrier. A trim is included. Must be done every three months.

Eggbar w/Toe Grab
Explination: These shoes are made of the same materials as the eggbar above, but they have a special toe grab on them that will aid a horses traction on the race course. SPECIALLY MADE FOR RACERS. A trim is included. Must be done every three months.

Elite Competition Shoes
Explination: These shoes are made for the sole purpose of competing. They are made of lightweight aluminum/steel alloy and can be used on any surface, from fine sand, to clay based dirt, to grass. A trim is included. Must be done every three months.

Reining Shoes
Explination: These shoes are for those horses that compete in reining events. They are specially made of a 1/4" thick steel and are avaliable in 11"-14" diameters. A trim is included. Must be done everytime your horse competes in a reining class or competition.

Corrective Shoeing
Explination: Special shoes made for your special horse and their hoof problems. This option is great if your horse is suffering from lamintitis or navicular disease. A trim is included.
Price: $5/hoof

Shoe Removal
Explination: Horse not activly comepting anymore? Then have his/her shoes removed free of charge!
