He would have been sent to a slaughter auction, but was fortunately rescued and began training in eventing, where he suprised everyone by taking to it like a duck to water! Like any Thoroughbred though, he is tempremantal, high-strung, and has his moods!! When he wakes up on the wrong side of the bed, he can get pretty snappish, but he is really sweet and loving when he lets the sun shine on him. Cigar is actually an import from another SIM that was shut down long, long ago. Who knows what would have happened to if we didn't rescue him! Cigar is just an outstanding stallion who is somewhat overlooked by the ES community. He has the pedigree to possibly sire racers, with Secretariat as his broodmare sire and being inbred to the great Pharalis on the top of his pedigree. The great Fair Play also shows up twice on the top of his pedigree. Cigar's top half is mostly British, and includes other famous British based horses such as: Bend Or, The Tetrarch, Gainsborough, & Pharos. We are thankful everyday to own such a stupendeous stallion!
