Tara was bred by Sweet Briar Creek (now Helluva Good Stables) just for us! Well actually, Sara picked the parents and we just picked her based on her sire and dam. Once I saw this breeding, I just knew I had to have the foal produced. And here she is, Ruqaya Tarfat SBC aka Tara! Tara is a very nice mare, typey and elegant - as an Egyptian Arabian should be! I have seen her dam, and she is very exotic looking, as if she came right out of the desert. Tara herself has a desert showname which means 'Gentle Twinkling of an Eye' in Arabic. We can already tell that Tara is going to be a very versatile mare, showing in both western and english. She is so smart and has caught on really fast to both disciplines, plus hunters! I cannot wait to see how she does at the shows.
