Son is one of the best racers that Fade to Black Inc has the pleasure of owning!
This colt is so awesome and awe inspiring. He has accomplished so much as a two & three year old, more than we thought he ever would! His breeding definatly played a role in his suceess. His lines are simply astonishing, and I could not ask for a more perfect and sound horse. Besides what you see on his pedigree, he also has Sword Dancer, Native Dancer, Danzig, Geisha, Nashua, Polyneisan, Northern Dancer, Bold Ruler, and tucked all the way back (on both side's) the Darley and Byerley Arabian. Son is now going into his stallion phase, yet he still remains very gentle and just very friendly. He likes everyone he meets, including other horses. He is very welcoming to most of new horses that we get, primarily the mares, fillies, and colts. I cannot wait to how he turns out when he matures at 5 years. He had a banner year in 2004 and 2005 was just as amazing!
Now we present to you, the future of Fade to Black Inc. The legend has now been retired to a life of supreme luxery and ladies! A champion race horse now becomes a champion sire. Welcome to stud row Son!
